Jump back into the world of mobsters, molls and speak-easies on Thursday when Chad Lewis, author of "The Wisconsin Road Guide to Gangster Hot Spots" gives his "Wisconsin's Gangster Past" multimedia lecture at Brookfield Public Library.

Lewis will revisit the days when gangsters such as Baby Face Nelson, Al Capone (pictured) and John Dillinger made Wisconsin their playground. And when you're an old school gangster, "play" included bank robberies, getaways and shootouts.

The lecture will be "a fun night on the wild side of the old days of Wisconsin," says Lewis.

The free lecture starts at 7 p.m. in the library's community room, 1900 N. Calhoun Road, Brookfield. For information, call (262) 782-4140.
