RIPON A leading expert in the paranormal field will speak at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, at Ripon Public Library.

Researcher and author Chad Lewis will describe his 13 years of exploration across the globe in search of strange phenomena, according to a library press release.

His presentation will focus on his travels in search of the world's most mysterious creatures, including the Chupacabras of Puerto Rico and Costa Rica, vampires and werewolves of Transylvania, the Loch Ness Monster, the Tata Duende of Belize, the Bigfoot of Canada, and fairies of Ireland.

Lewis is a paranormal researcher and author. He holds a master of science degree in applied psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. He is co-author of the "Road Guide to Haunted Locations" book series.
