If you’ve ever had a
flair for the
dramatic—or only wish
you did—you will have
the opportunity to try
it out in the next event
of the Tyler Arts
Council’s Discovery
Series.
On Monday, Jan. 11 at 7
p.m., RTR’s drama coach
and one-act play
director, Neil Witte,
will lead a reader’s
theater. It will meet at
the high school in Room
11, just up the hallway
from the library.
Witte has chosen a light
hearted play to work
with. Parts will be
parceled out to
volunteers. After an
introduction and perhaps
a little “direction”
from Witte, the play
will be read. It will be
something like the old
radio dramas.
The Discovery Series is
co-sponsored by the
Tyler Arts Council and
RTR Community Education
and explores a variety
of subjects. On Feb. 22
we are bringing to town
Chad Lewis, author
of
“The Minnesota Road
Guide to Haunted
Locations.” More
details on that one will
be published later. |
