DAKOTA LIFE Goes
Ghost Hunting:
Trick or treat. Join DAKOTA LIFE during Halloween
month for some of the state’s haunted places.
In
2006, two paranormal investigators, Chad Lewis and
Terry Fisk, traveled across South Dakota visiting
various haunted locations. Their book, “The South
Dakota Road Guide to Haunted Locations” was the
result.
October’s DAKOTA LIFE takes some time to interview
the intrepid ghost hunters and find out how they got
involved in their line of work. Then, we’ll head
for:
-
A haunted home in Vermillion that used to be the
town hospital.
-
The historic Fort Randall Military Post.
-
Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Deadwood.
DAKOTA LIFE celebrates its 10th season this year,
with the stories, people and places that make South
Dakota a great and fascinating place to live. The
magazine-style SDPB Television production generally
looks at three topics, drawing from the fascinating
people, places and things that make up the DAKOTA
LIFE.
You
can watch DAKOTA LIFE on your schedule by going to
SDPB.org, clicking on “Television”
in the left side menu and then clicking on DAKOTA
