Mark your calendar for Tuesday,
March 16th at 7 PM. We will be
hosting a presentation on
Wisconsin’s role in gangster
history. Chad Lewis will discuss
the deadly bank robberies,
explosive shootouts, brutal
murders, and daring kidnappings,
which are part of gangster
history in Wisconsin. Chad will
be releasing a new book this
spring “Wisconsin Road Guide to
Gangster Hot Spots” which gives
you the real story behind the
movie “Public Enemies”.
The book will be filled with
directions to get you started on
the adventure that will have you
walking in the footsteps of
Wisconsin most notorious
gangsters! The Friends of the
Library are happy to invite Mr.
Lewis back to the library. He
has been very popular here as a
lecturer on topics of the
strange and unusual. Chad has
been featured on the Discovery
Channel and is the author of the
Hidden Headlines series and
also the co-author of the
Road Guide to Haunted Locations
book series. Last year he wrote
“Minnesota Road Guide to
Gangster Hot Spots”.
