Highway 12 Hitchhiker

Location: Baraboo, Sauk County, Wisconsin

The Reputed Phenomena:

Travelers have reported seeing a male hitchhiker dressed in a green jacket. He is described as having black hair and a beard. The hitchhiker is passed, only to be seen again one mile down the road. If someone stops to pick him up he disappears and can not be found.

The Investigation:

We were unable to find any witnesses that have actually seen this man. Hwy 12 is a very long stretch of road. We traveled this road and did not encounter this or any other hitchhiker. Being that there is no date, time, specific location, or personal account, the case is difficult to prove or disprove.
